Hi, I’m Aaron Crowley, and I founded Fabricators Friend with the purpose of making stone fabrication easier.

Fabricators Friend helps other stone shop owners to help their companies keep more of the profits, more promises made to the customer, and more peace of mind in the process.

Read About My Stone Business Background:

My stone career began accidentally. While looking for a summer job in high school, I walked thru an open door in a business park and filled out an application. It wasn’t until I’d been called in for an interview and offered the position that I learned it was a stone shop.

That was 1993, years before granite counters were “in.”

In 1998 I went into business for myself with no vision, no plan, and honestly, no expectation that it would even last a year!

Miraculously, we survived the first year. We persevered through my utter lack of experience, countless mistakes, and the Great Recession.

Today, our stone shop is healthy and growing profitably and has earned the Angie’s List Super Service award for the last 10 years in a row.

But more importantly…

Our stone shop is run entirely by our management team.  Completely.  From establishing the budget, to execution, to reporting on the progress and performance, our GM and department managers handle all the day to day functions required of a successful enterprise.

This has enabled me to distance myself enough from the business to realize some life-changing truths about myself and about how to build a successful business.

I can honestly say, my life has been transformed.

And that’s why Fabricators Friend exists: to provide a M.A.P. that leads out of the life-sucking experience (fatigue and frustration) so common among stone shop owners.
